The use of this website and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand.
The following terms and conditions apply to all sales between Guruji Indian Foods and its online customers.
We do not refund or exchange products based on a change of mind, but will refund or replace under the obligations of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 if your product is deemed defective or spoiled.
If you wish to return/exchange an item due to quality issues, please notify us within seven days of receiving the item. The customer is solely responsible for the return of the product, but Guruji Indian Foods will reimburse return postage costs for spoiled or defective goods.
All items must be returned in original condition they were shipped in, unused, with all original tags still intact. Please include the packing slip.
Prices displayed for products are valid for purchases made through this site only. Special prices displayed are valid for the dates specified or while stocks last. All prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars and stock sold in New Zealand is inclusive of GST. Guruji is not responsible for pricing, typographical, or other errors. Guruji reserves the right to cancel an order placed with any omissions and/or pricing mistakes.
Full payment for any online order needs to be made by the customer prior to any goods being dispatched. Following your order, Guruji Indian Foods will contact you directly as soon as possible in order to arrange your payment.
South Island (Ashburton, Timaru, Dunedin, Queenstown, Invercargill):
Total order up to 10kg - $10 per parcel;
Total order up to 15kg - $15 per parcel;
North Island (Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Wellington):
Total order up to 10kg - $12 per parcel;
Total order up to 15kg - $20 per parcel;
For rural addresses $7 is added per parcels.
Delivery times within New Zealand are typically between 1 and 5 business days from the time of your order.
All efforts will be made to fulfil any order placed with Guruji Indian Foods; however, we accept no responsibility should we be unable to supply goods ordered for any reason.
Through normal business, Guruji Indian Foods may collect customer information including contact and delivery details, purchase history and credit card details.
This information will remain confidential and will be held securely, and will not be disclosed to any third party without written consent of the owner, except in cases where the information is necessary to carry out the transaction entered into by the customer.
Customers who do not wish to have any personal information collected and used for any other purpose other than that required to complete the transaction will need to express this in writing at the time of purchase.
Personal information relating to the customer is available under the Privacy Act 1993, and the customer may request changes to the information held.
